So I broke my fast early today at 59 hours instead of 72 because my little bro invited my Mom & me out to lunch. I was just going to go and not eat but my Mom also ended up inviting my aunt and this would have been the third time I either didnt eat or refused an invitation from her because I was fasting. I didnt want it to become a thing so I broke my fast and just ate with them. . . This #waterfast was ridiculously easy compared to last week – nothing beyond a few hunger pangs at hour 22 and then I was fine up until this afternoon. I did not supplement with salt or take my B vitamins during this fast and had no nausea or stomach cramps. Go figure… (Note to self: I guess the stress of shark week plus prolonged fasting is too much for my body to handle. ) . . I also ate all the food at dim sum today and had zero digestive issues. I was overweight and miserable even then. Yes in many of us fat loss can be that simple just cut your daily calorie intake and you’ll be losing that 1/2 lb a week goal you set for yourself. But this mechanism is not a one size fits all kind of approach. Different bodies metabolize carbohydrates differently. Feel like this needed to be addressed again!! people still dont get the idea of a base diet. I had 2 girls that were friends start working with me at the same time. Both weigh 140 lbs same height and similar body types… I told them I was basically going to start them on the same exact plan because how different could their basal metabolic rate really be? Fast forward 6 weeks later after each update they are both doing completely different diets. 1 girl responded perfect to the diet and she barely needed any changes along the way just minor cuts to her carbs and cardio went from 20 mins to 30… The second girl responded terribly I ended up making drastic changes to her plan. Had to go zero carb and put her on a keto diet along with 50 mins of cardio a day to see good progress. My point is that the starting base diet is NOT the secret. The changes made based on experience after each update is what truly matters… Hope that makes sense and clears up any bs. VERY Rarely does someone take 1...

Keto Day 187 Update Carnivore Day 3 Having a bit of keto insomnia. Couldnt sleep all night. I think I had way too many caffeinated drinks. Bought fage 5% for kids!!! Yay for 5% milk fat! Fat is slowly winning!!! Also bought ribeye (bottom left) and chuck steak (bottom right). Cannot even compare the 2. I ate the ribeye practicing self care. I usually would eat the chuck. What I ate in a day I tried to get pictures of each meal before i ate it but I kept forgetting so most of these picture were taken after the 1st bite lol I made more #eggloaf because your girl was getting tired of just boring eggs. Broke my 17 hr fast with soggy french toast and bacon. Lunch was supposed to be chia pudding but IDK what i did to my batch but it tasted like dirt so i swapped it for a small salad with bacon bits. Dinner was 4oz carne asada with a cheesy cauliflower dip from costco which i HATED Thank god i had a @eatwholly mini guac to help fill me up. Also Im obsessed with Bai It was a successful day with only 14 net carbs. #transformationtuesday Is it crazy that Ive lost 70 pounds by: going to the gym 1-3 times a week (versus 5-6) eating what I want to (no counting carbs or calories!!) and actually enjoying life?! Its the little things . So thankful to be where I am today. Thankful to know how to train effectively have more confidence increased strength and a healthier mindset. Less than 1 year ago I was constantly thinking about how to cut calories stressed if I missed even 1 day of working out/ going to the gym and afraid to socially eat or drink- as much as people have questioned me about if Im eating enough or you lost too much weight my MINDSET has never been healthier.
