So I broke my fast early today at 59 hours instead of 72 because my little bro invited my Mom & me out to lunch. I was just going to go and not eat but my Mom also ended up inviting my aunt and this would have been the third time I either didnt eat or refused an invitation from her because I was fasting. I didnt want it to become a thing so I broke my fast and just ate with them. . . This #waterfast was ridiculously easy compared to last week – nothing beyond a few hunger pangs at hour 22 and then I was fine up until this afternoon. I did not supplement with salt or take my B vitamins during this fast and had no nausea or stomach cramps. Go figure… (Note to self: I guess the stress of shark week plus prolonged fasting is too much for my body to handle. ) . . I also ate all the food at dim sum today and had zero digestive issues. I dont get it… . . So as yall know I do not own a scale. Pretty much the only time I weigh myself is at the doctors office so I dont really know If Ive lost weight unless I do a side by side comparison. Today at lunch my aunt told me that I looked like I had lost a lot of weight since we last saw each other so I decided to see for myself. . . Pic 2 and 3 were taken about 3 weeks apart (June 26th vs. today) and I can actually see the progress. I have been trying out multi-day fasting for the last 3 weeks or so (instead of daily IF & OMAD) and the results are pretty great for not a lot of effort ie: literally doing nothing. . . This #wayofeating is pretty effortless and effective. Ive lost over 90 lbs over 8 months on #keto & #intermittentfasting but the benefits go way beyond the aesthetic I have been able to lower my blood pressure control my inflammation & joint pain without drugs normalize my blood sugar & cholesterol and get rid of my fatty liver disease. . . In 8 months yall Just to compare the pics in slide 2 were taken about a year and a half apart also after 6 months of eating a plant-based diet (75% carbs – 15% protein – 10% fat). The weight loss was pretty minimal comparatively and I ended up with total body (contd in comments)
